New and improved Photos section

November 4, 2009

Recently, we’ve completely redeveloped the Photos & Videos section on Friends Reunited.

Swing by your profile and you’ll notice some huge improvements, with some great new features designed to make sharing and uploading photos easier and more fun.

Go to My Photos & Videos >>

Browsing and finding a photo you’ve added is now much easier. Just pick the album you want, and use the blue left or right arrows to scroll through the photos one by one. You can also use the scroll bar below to navigate through the whole album more quickly.

The top panel has some new icons, allowing you to zoom in, delete, add a tag, or comment on each photo. And don’t forget, you can share your albums with anyone, just chose a username here and email your profile to friends.

St. Andrew’s Day Survey

October 5, 2009

Sincere apologies to all those non-Scottish members who received a St. Andrew’s Day email from us today. A ‘wee’ technical hitch meant a few people were included accidentally.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Latest Updates to Friends Reunited

October 1, 2009

Today, we launched a brand new design for the site navigation. We think it looks a lot smarter, and hopefully you will too.

The main navigation is now colour coded, splitting up the different areas of the site and making it easier to tell where you are. We’ve also neatened up the tabs linking to Genes Reunited and Friends Reunited Dating, to give them a nice new look.

This new navigation is the first step towards a completely revamped design, which we hope to roll out in the coming months.

We know how frustrating it is to write a long message only to notice you’ve made a spelling mistake. So with this in mind, you can now edit a post that you’ve written by clicking the “edit” link below your message.
