On Saturday Friends Reunited sponsored and took part in a brand-new running event, bringing together families of the missing, in aid of the Missing People charity.
A fantastic day was had by all, with over £20,000 raised for the charity, and more than 400 supporters involved in the 10K Hyde Park run. Runners included parents of missing children like Kate McCann, Nicki Durbin the mother of missing Luke Durbin, Rachel Elias the sister of former Manic Street Preachers guitarist Richey Edwards and celebrities Zoe Tyler and Kirsten O’Brien.

Missing People provides outstanding support for missing children, vulnerable adults and families left in limbo. Last year the charity received more than 123,000 calls for help. Find out more about their great work at their website – www.missingpeople.org.uk

Congratulations to the Manor Park Grammar School in Warwickshire, they’ve won £500 towards their upcoming reunion “Manor Park 30 year reunion”.
The winning reunion was randomly selected from thousands of new reunions created last October, so a big well done to the class of ‘79 and we hope they have a fantastic time getting back together and reliving their school days.
The reunion takes place on the 27th of Feb, so we hope to see lots of photos from the event soon!

Recently, we’ve completely redeveloped the Photos & Videos section on Friends Reunited.
Swing by your profile and you’ll notice some huge improvements, with some great new features designed to make sharing and uploading photos easier and more fun.

Browsing and finding a photo you’ve added is now much easier. Just pick the album you want, and use the blue left or right arrows to scroll through the photos one by one. You can also use the scroll bar below to navigate through the whole album more quickly.
The top panel has some new icons, allowing you to zoom in, delete, add a tag, or comment on each photo. And don’t forget, you can share your albums with anyone, just chose a username here and email your profile to friends.
